1. The agreement
By accepting our written quote (by email, WhatsApp message or signed booking sheet), you agree to these terms. They apply to every Upliftiq Cleaning service unless we have signed a separate contract with you.
2. Quotes and pricing
Quotes are valid for 30 days. If the actual condition of the property differs materially from what was described to us, we may revise the quote on the day, with your agreement, before any work begins.
3. Access
You agree to provide safe, lawful access to the property at the scheduled time. If the crew is held up at the gate or concierge for more than 30 minutes, we may charge a flat RM 50 wait fee per cleaner.
4. Cancellation
Cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before the visit. Inside 24 hours, a 50 percent fee applies. No-shows on the day are billed in full. We never charge for a cancellation that happens because of severe weather, flooding, or a force-majeure event.
5. Payment
Payment is due on completion of the visit, by bank transfer or card. Monthly invoiced accounts are available for businesses and managing agents.
6. Our liability
We hold public liability insurance up to RM 1,000,000 per incident. In the unlikely event of damage caused by our staff, please notify us within 48 hours with photographs. We will repair or replace the item, or compensate at fair market value, at our discretion.
7. Our exclusions
We do not move heavy furniture, climb above a stable two-step ladder, or handle bio-hazard waste (blood, faeces beyond standard bathroom use, dead vermin) without prior agreement and additional PPE.
8. Your responsibility
Please secure cash, jewellery and prescription medication before the visit. While our staff are vetted and trusted, leaving such items unattended makes our crew uncomfortable and is not a fair situation for either side.
9. Photographs
We may take internal before-and-after photos for quality control. These are never shared publicly without your written permission.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute that we cannot resolve directly will be referred to the courts of Kuala Lumpur.
